Deaerators

The primary function of a Deaerator is to extract oxygen and carbon dioxide from the feedwater, saving the entire system from corrosion. All Stickle Deaerators are designed for a maximum O2 of 0.005 cc/l and zero CO2.  The extraction of oxygen and carbon dioxide serve the main purpose of the feedwater heater.  They are designed and constructed for easy maintenance and durable service.  Deaerators significantly reduce the expense of boiler room maintenance and repairs by minimizing the potential for corrosion to boilers, pumps and pipes.Preferred Utilites is proud to offer Stickle Deaerators. Series 200


The Series 200 deaerator is a two stage spray type design.  Self-adjusting spray & atomizing nozzles achieve 20:1 turndown. 

 

Series 240

The Series 240 is a two stage tray type deaerator lends itself to utilizing high pressure returns, minimizing the need for system steam requirements throughout 0-100% capacity.

 

 

Series 557

The Series 557 intermittent blowoff tank with after cooler.  It’s design minimizes cooling water requirements through pre-mixing hot blowoff with stored condensate.

 

 

Series 850

The Series 850 high pressure return system allows condensate directly back to your boiler at maximum temperature allowable.  Reducing the temperature differential of most feedwater.

 

 

Series 550

The Series 550 continuous blowoff heat recovery system uses the continuous blowoff from your boiler to pre-heat make-up feedwater and return flash steam back to the deaerator.  This system allows minimal drain temperature without cooling water waste.

 

 

Series 285

The Series 285 Deaereturn is a combination tray deaerator and high pressure return system.  Packaged design to accommodate minimum space requirements.  High pressure return side maintains condensate at temperature and returns directly back to boiler, allowing the deaerator side to function as make-up unit only.
